This section presents the checkpoints to be applied to all manufacturers that require product certification, as it covers important issues for all manufacturing units, mainly focused on; Management of Production Units, Record Keeping System, Health and Safety of Workers.
AF 1
COUNTRY HISTORY AND COUNTRY MANAGEMENT
One of the main characteristics of sustainable agriculture is the continuous integration of knowledge about production space and practical experiences in planning and management in the future. This paragraph is intended to ensure that land, buildings and other facilities, which make up the farm structure, are properly managed to ensure safe food production and environmental protection.

Establish a registration system for each production unit or other site / site to provide data on livestock / aquaculture production and / or agricultural activities undertaken in that country.

HYGIENE
People are the key to preventing product contamination. Farm staff and contractors as well as the producers themselves are responsible for the quality and safety of the product. Education and training will enable progress towards safe production. This section aims to provide good practices for reducing the risks to hygiene of the product and that all workers understand the requirements and are competent to carry out their duties.
Further hygienic requirements that are specific to certain activities such as harvesting and manipulation with the product are defined in the applicable standard module.

HEALTH, SAFETY AND WELFARE OF WORKERS
People are the key to safe and efficient operation of every farm. Farm staff and contractors as well as the producers themselves stand behind the quality of production and environmental protection. Education and training will help make progress towards sustainability and build social capital. This section aims to provide safe work practices and that all employees understand them and are competent to perform their duties; are equipped with appropriate equipment to enable them to work safely; and that, in case of accidents, they may receive timely and proper assistance.
